currently at work.
i have a story to share.
by now u guys must have known where im working at right? ok for those who doesnt, im working at north bridge road, somewhere near the masjid sultan. (so close that i can even hear khutbah jumaat.)
yesterday, as amyra and i were on our way to bugis MRT, we came across 2 guys at the Raffles hospital traffic light. i was standing quite a distance behind them and one of the guys kept on turning back. thats the part where im starting to feel uncomfortable.
after crossing the road, they stop at the side and let us walk first. ya rabbi. lagi la we became scard. ape tk nye, they stalked us. at that point of time i was reciting while talking to amyra abt the possibilities that we will, should and what to do next. unfortunately all traffic lights that we came across was that red man. pfft. -.-"
after getting tired of kejar and stalking, one of them said "excuse me. excuse me. do you know where's the MRT?" amyra turned and answer them. i continue walking as if i dont know anything.
they tried to approach us again and i dont know how, the next minute i was having conversation with one of them. he's arab pakistan. name, i cant remember! haha. he walked and enter the MRT as if he already know the protocol to enter. wal hal he said he was studying in malaysia. what made the whole storyline more suspicious was that he's actually heading to sentosa?? come on la. who the hell goes to sentosa at 6.30pm wearing long pants, folded blue sleeves shirt with a smart shoe?? he seriously need to think ahead before approaching a lady. afterall, practice so makes perfect rite?? haha.
so anyways, before both of us head to our separate ways, he asked for my phone number. haha.
what do you guys think? did we exchange numbers?

i told the whole incident to mama and she said "kan mama dah bilang. age sekarang lebih baik kalau tak ade matair. lagi banyak org kite jumpe and lagi boleh pilih. takde restrictions." i was like. " ahhh. yes mama.." haha after that, she went on talking about how unfortunate some of these ppl were to be attached at a very young age. not that she's against it, but she have her own perceptions. :)

long weekends.

ahhh.. finally had a good long rest. long hours of regaining back my beauty sleep. what more can i ask besides shopping! haha
anyways, my 2nd week of SIP went pretty well. alhamdulillah. 10 more weeks to go. went to site on thursday. this time Joseph, manager, brought us to siemens and siltronic samsung to look ard at the landscape designed by them. initially he wanted to bring us to nursery as well but time was running late.
only two weeks and i can see some part of me changing. for the better or not wallahualam. haha. whenever i walk around, i tend to be looking at plants and landscape and start talking about it. haha. dont worry, i wont bore you if u're going out with me.
i read most of my friends blog and ask the ppl ard me how was their internship coming along and their reply was either 'okay uh' or they're complaining. all i can do is help them by psychoing their mind. that might help, i guess?
thats the part where i constantly remind myself how lucky i am to be attached to the company i am with right now and not complain abt anything and everything.
afterall, SIP is NOT about the amount of money they pay you, its abt the experience you gain from them. :)
Happy Birthday Singapore!
*i may sound patriotic but im actually saying if for the sake of mentioning it. ;P*
seems like im updating my blog on a weekly basis. if u wanna get frequent updates from me, follow me on twitter okay. :D

Watching octo Groom my Room. its so merepek la sey. she wants her room to look like nature by having all four walls of different colour. how ugly can that be. eww!
anyways, soo sorry people that seldom update my blog. been busy with my internship. so far alhamdulillah everything goes well. been one week and time really flies when i'm at work. (im distracted by the show. she's having a yellow and red DIY flowers inside a coconut shell. water features that looks like a fish tank! wah lao.) (the reveal. haha.. so buruk! ok i shall stop criticising.)
ok abih. oh my SIP. yea. start work at 9am but i wake up at 6.45am. ends at 6pm. after that, head down to help mama with the stall til 11pm. on the way back, there must be one of us yg lapar so its either mac at downtown or swensens at airport. any recommendation of places that is open 24hrs and is aircon??
so thats my weekdays schedule.
as for the weekends, saturday would be a "wake up late day" for me. currently theres no plan.
sunday would be "shopping day" for me. was thinking of going to orchard ion and orchard central. saw it from a distance. pretty nice architecture.
in love with marie digby's songs.
oh and did i mention that choosing what to wear everyday gave me a really very hard time??
things i have to consider in process of selecting:
a) the weather
b) the journey. 8.20am in the MRT is pack like sardines. all of us going towards town area. dress code for them, smart = office wear.
c) my office. all of the staffs,4 (3 male, 1 female), excluding mira and i, wears something casual and comfy. nothing fanciful. so i tend to think of what should i wear so that i wont look overly dolled up.
d) site. my jobscope isnt only sitting down infront of the com to do drawings and what have you. sometimes we need to go on site to take measurements and sketch out. just like doing site analysis. so that kind of attire for me would be comfy.
e) the offic is one of the shophouses located at masjid sultan. so prayers would be done there. attire should be kept decent and not overly expose.
get the picture? i'm setting my own dress code rules that is making me eager to go shopping. haha. one things for sure, everything goes well by wearing a cardigan or jacket over it. inshallah all 5 considerations will be solve.
*woke up with tears running down my cheeks. hopefully it wont happen.*
