tracing back time.

on NYE. my family went to visit tok u at his house. he had cancer on his throat due to smoking since 10 years old! and now he's 67. can u imagine that?? so kids out there, DON'T SMOKE! stayed there til abt 11.45pm while watching channel 5 countdown. it was merepek. tak tgk pon tkpe. initially the plan was to celebrate new year at downtown east. however, seems like mama and mummy couldnt stop talking and drag the time. so we had our 'celebration' in the car. in ayah's car, there were mama, ayah, amyra and me. while in daddy's car, there were mummy, daddy, hykel and my 2 brothers. i was told that mummy was really really hyper when the clock strikes 12 while we were more of like toned down n not care?? haha.
some of u might ask. what is my new year resolution? my ans is exercise more and lose some kilos. but but. here's the thing. on the first day of new year, i broke the resolution. i ate. haha.
2nd jan 2009
the night before, i was told by amyra that there was an audition going on at taman warisan, searching for actors and actresses. she's going with her father and uncles, asking me to tagged along.. i was half hearted to go or not cos i wasnt sure whether is this the path i wanna take and i wasnt mentally prepared at all. so i told her to call me the next morning to confirm with me again.
morning came and she called me. i asked who's going and theres like 5 in total which apparently, fits nicely in a car. so i said im not going. after putting down the phone, i wasnt at ease. i msged amyra asking her whether she wants me to accompany her along.
so there i was at taman warisan the next min. after register and stuffs, we went in the room in groups of abt 6 ppl. i didnt know that the auditionee was malaysia's director, shuhaimi baba. one of the film she direct was 'pontianak harum sundal malam'. i didnt know it until everyone completed. actually the audition was for a drama. collaboration of msia n spore. gosh! i thought it was just for spore production. a mini tiny thing but hey, its like msia's involve. like for now, things i have to juggle are like school, agama, mama's shops, family, friends, whats more. acting?? whatever it is, i'll just leave it to god. he decides best for me. and and if sleeq can do it, i dont see a reason why i cant. to sum up, its worth an experience.
after that, we went to stall to help mama.
at abt 8.30pm, went to vivo to watch 'the duchess'. movie review time..
just to let some of u readers know, the film is based on Amanda Foreman's best selling biography of 18th century duchess of Devonshire Georgiana Cavendish, who is trapped in a loveless marriage. personally i think the movie has a beautiful landscape and over-the-top period costumes. however, it can be tad draggy in some scenes but the actor's performances more than compensate.
so whats the next movie in line?? hmm.. perhaps seven pound? or brides war??
